Our goal is to gather knowledge on the opportunities for political and social participation in the lives of Ukrainian refugees in Austria - and what is missing. We need to know what possibilites already exist and what about them works well for you, and what doesn't. This way, we can analyze the status quo regarding positives and negatives and make suggestions for future participation opportunities based on scientific data.
But only YOU can tell us what YOU experience. How do you participate in the Austrian society in your everyday life? Did you go to a protest? Did you share a petition on social media? Did you play football with a local club? Did run into problems on the way? Did you want o participate but something stopped you? We want to know everything!
How can you participate?

This research project consists of three steps:
1. Pre-survey
After you have logged in/created an account, you start with a quick questionnaire to give us some basic information about yourself and your thoughts on science. Once you've completed this step you can start with the tracking phase!
2. Tracking tool
The heart of the project! With this form you can document any participation opportunity you might encounter. Snap a photo or take a screenshot and quickly upload it in the tracking tool - on the go with your smartphone or later at home. The more you can tell us about the situation, the better. You can use the tracking tool as many times as you want.
3. Post-survey
As a last step, we ask you to fill out another short questionnaire. This helps us to evaluate our research project and make improvements for the future. Please wait with this step until after you have participated in the tracking phase (in case you forget about it we will remind you, don't worry).
When you have succesfully gone through all three steps of the project you have the chance to win a participation award for your work (terms apply)!
In the interactive forum we will regularly share interesting opportunities for social or political participation that users tracked (anonymously of course). You can give feedback and discuss with other users.
